Clothes. Something we see, wear and feel everyday but what happens to the body when we interact with clothing as a medium for distortion? Inspired by iconic art movement Surrealism, Sigmund Freud’s works and Viktor Shklovsky’s ‘Art as technique’, Out of Shape explores how clothing can be defamiliarized as it transforms the body into Uncanny shapes and figures.
